About life on a plate
It is with a great sense of pride and a deep feeling of emotion that I dedicate this book to my father, Late Shamsul Anwar. He was one of those who loved good food as much as he enjoyed going to the market to get the best and the freshest. My father had been the principal inspiration for me to delve into the culinary world from my very childhood. With the passage of time, my fondness for cooking turned into a sustained passion. I owe this passion most to my father. At every step of working on this book, I felt his presence as a friendly guide and an angel to help me navigate through the path of putting my thoughts into words.
For that, I remain ever grateful to him.

However, her passion has always been traditional Bangladeshi foods. This is an area where the depth and excellence of her expertise match her knowledge of Thai cuisine. As of June 2020, she has been chosen as the Executive Member of the prestigious World Association of Master Chefs (WAMS). In November 2020, she was chosen as the country president of the prestigious World Association of Master Chefs (WAMC), Bangladesh and also chosen as an International (level 4) Judge at Masterchef.
