JACKFRUIT THE NATIONAL FRUIT OF BANGLADESH

Raw Jackfruit has a mild taste and meat-like texture that lends itself to being called a “vegetable meat”, we cook it in different ways. The ripe fruit is sweet and is more often used for desserts. Jackfruit is known for its strong smell and sweet custardy texture. Roasted ripe jackfruit seeds taste as wonderful as roasted chestnuts. Here are some recipes using the national fruit of Bangladesh.

2 cups sweet ripe jackfruit pulp
½ cup coconut, grated
1 ¼ cups green coconut
water
2 cups ripe bananas
2 tablespoons coriander
leaves, minced
1 tablespoon almond flakes
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon desiccated
coconut
Crushed ice to serve

২ কাপ মমিষ্টি পাকা কাঁঠালের পাল্প

½ কাপপ নারকেল, গ্রেট করা

১ ¼ কাপ ডাবের পানি

২ কাপ পাকা কলা

২ টেবিল চামচ ধনেপাতা, কিমা

১ টেবিল চামচ বাদাম ফ্লেক্স

১ টেবিল চামচ মধু

১ টেবিল চামচ নারকেল, ভাঁজা

বরফ কুচি করে পরিবেশন করুন

COOL the serving glasses in the refrigerator.

COMBINE all the ingredients from jackfruit pulp to honey in a high-speed blender. Cover and process until smooth. Serve in the chilled glasses, and sprinkle with desiccated coconut and crushed ice.
